1. What are the major differences in these 2 versions?
In the 2nd version, I notice the text more. The type is bolder, and stands out, whereas in the first version, it's hard to find, and notice at the first look. There is good contrast in the second version which makes the design work more.
2. What design issue caused a change in the final artwork?
The lines are more defined, and everything is bolder. The final design looks cleaner, and more balanced than the first. I also like how the focus is mainly on the record, and "mix show" so you know what the company/design is about.
